Just a warning to those ordering from abroad in general. Sometimes there can be hidden costs. I recently ordered a 128 MMC from California -- price quoted included delivery by UPS. When UPS delivered they demanded another GB£22: £12 for taxes (UK Government) and £10 for UPS "brokerage service", which basically means they charge you for paying your UK tax in advance! I rang UPS and the customer service woman there said that this was ALWAYS happening with international orders... websites "forget" to mention that domestic taxes can be levied over and above cost of product and delivery.
Many websites do not make this clear when ordering and it added 25% to my overall costs. I was NOT happy! | |
