Hi to you all, this is my first post but was reading esato quite a bit. Today I spent about 2 hours finding a solution to my prob. with no luck, so here it goes... I'm a proud owner of S700i and I'm very satisfied with it, but I stumbled upon a problem here. Somehow the dust entered between the upper glass and the screen display itself and I don't know how to make it go away. It is very iritating as at the daylight its quite visible (those damn white thingies). So what I'm asking is if there's a way to clean the screen (behind the upper glass) or is it possible to pull off the front mask to do it without breaking the phone. If some of you people who switched their housings can give me a hand on this one...

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hi Fevves. You may have more luck asking this in the S700/S710 housing thread. A couple of members have actually replaced their housings there. May be Masseur could kindly post a link.

Yes, I'd be interested in a guide to opening up an S700i. I'd like one of those phones, but they're still a little pricey for me at the moment, so am wondering about buying one with a damaged screen and repairing it to get one that way, but at the mo have no idea how the phone comes apart!
