K750i - concern the sound of the camera |

hi,
I'm a new member.
I recently bought a K750i, but it comes from Belgium, so when I take a picture with the phone, I can hear the sound of the camera.
Somebody told me, that it was possible to delete the sound thanks to a crack or a code. I had a samsung E700 and I just entered a code, then the sound of the camera was deleted !
thanks in advance !

Will not work, Belgium is one of those country that has a law for the shutter sound. Afaik you have to mess with the firmware.

| Actually I haven't heard anything about such a law in Belgium (I come from there), and some other brands don't necessarily have the shutter sound. It's disappointing the k750 does have a sound in silent mode, but at least it's a nice sound, not a slap in the face like k700
But it's true if you call a free number you don't have the sound so yeah, it works. Actually it's another reason why it's stupid you can't disable the sound

It's an european law actually (I think), to prevent taking pictures of lady's underwear ... thanks to all the sick voyeurs out there.
I never heard of a code for sonyericsson so I suppose the only way is by firmware or the voice mail trick.

Just to confirm, the UK phones supplied by 02 allow you to mute the camera shutter sound by switching the phone to silent. Well, in this firmware revision anyway....

i was surprised that the shutter sound has gone, considering my k700 would always bleep no matter if i mutted the sound |

Cool, it depends what firmware your phone is supplied with. This depends on where you get it, when, from whom etc.
I hope my future K750i has a muted sound, or nice one, the K700i's was terrible! Like, quite rightly said, a slap in the face

So it seems EU_1 can mute the shutter sound? I just want to confirm this before I flash my camera |
