K700i keeps rebooting R2AA003 |

Hi.
I have the following software version on my SE K700i.
R2AA003
It is currently unlocked, but customised to Orange.
For the last 3-4 weeks, the phone reboots itself. It happens when the phone is left alone and when using; ie looking through photos. I have searched through these forums, but the fault on seems to happen on earlier software versions.
Desciption of fault:
Phone screen turns bright white
Phone reboots
PIN does not need to be entered, after reboot
Can someone advise what to do. I originally upgraded the software via the SE website, 5 mths ago and the fault has only just started.
The phone is 8mths old.
Many thanks in advance for your help |

Dude, if you REALLY searched this forum you would have seen the SUPER HUGE thread about this. You started a useless thread. The problem with the phone has already been identified by SE. Go back and do a search. Hint, search for: s700i still rebooting.

He was talking about the K700i!

This sounds like a firmware problem. Take your handset to a service centre or alternatively update it online using the SEUS and that should sort it.

My bad. Got s700i on the brain. SE calls me almost every other day to tell me that they are working on it.
Anyway, he can try a master reset. Sometimes this will reset the memory and cause it to function properly without anything major (or minor) for that matter happening to the phone.

You say you used the update service, and it was a while back? The update service has a problem that sometimes it can corrupt firmware as it flashes. I bet this is all it is. Go to a service center and get the phone flashed or use total multiserver or davinci. |

Yep, a master reset's also worth a try. Failing that, a flash should sort it.
