If you have created the tunes in your iPod with iTunes in either .mp3 format or .m4a then your phone will be able to play them.
If you've purchased tunes from the iTunes Music Store then they are protected by DRM and wil not directly play on your phone.

The Media player works as both music player and video player and supports the following formats:
Audio:
MP3 (192 kbit/s for local playback)
MP4
M4A
3GP (Audio encoded in AAC or AMR)
AMR
WAV
G-MIDI (level 1 with 40 voices polyphony)
Video:
MP4
3GP
hope that helps

What the **** are you on about "matey" god i hope you aren't a customer sales representitive, although that would explain that extremely stupid comment, LOL
Please can people get their facts RIGHT before posting such invaluable comments, the K750i above mentioned, of wich i am the proud owner of, DOES PLAY MP4 file, (and very well if i may add).
Please "matey" sort things out and at least edit your post to avoid much more comments like mine

Ha Ha - Let me explain - I tried an MP4 last night but the bloody thing didnt work, after using a P910i for the past year I loved MP4 quality.
And I was sure it would play them - I will edit my post - and if you could supply an example MP4 That would be great
It also sounds like you want to marry your phone by the way you go on about it? get a girlfiriend |

phone is better I can touch it anytime anywhere. but most important is that I can mute it whenever I want
Oh and for example MP4, the demo tour video that came with phone is MP4. I guess what you tried would have higher frame size than supported or it would have encoded with a profile which phone doesn't support.

@Itanium - Ha Ha yes I suppose they cant talk back matey - And yes your completey right I used to encode videos for this forum (mp4) on here - http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=41136&start=7950 but stopped since I now have a k750i
I will hopefully start again, once I can get some settings to encode!
