Hmmm...the passcode options is needed only when you try to pair your device with another, isn't it? Try sending a contact. I really dunno how bluetooth works in samsungs though!

As whizzkid said you are trying to pair D500 with another phone. Make up a contact and send it as bluetooth.
Also it might be an idea to send with bluetooth turned off, then when prompted intiate bluetooth.

does it ask for the passkey when sending contacts?
I think the d500 has enhanced security features for BT.
i dont think you can bluejack with it...

I dont think pairing w/out passcode is possible as things stand now.

As for other activities like bluejacking, check whether the s/w available on www.bluejackq.com works on your phone.
