yeah quite a lookalike.
I often hear about BenQ, but frankly I have never seen any of their products. I know they make notebooks and cellphones...

this isn't benq though, it's senao.
I'm sure you've seen BenQ products.
Acer and BenQ are one and the same.

Benq is out of S Korea...They are completely different companies..In fact Benq manufactures high end plasma displays as their primary product line

its odd you say that, because I bought a CD-Writer 3 years ago packaged in Acer packaging, I saw the same one with BenQ packaging.
either way these phones have nothing to do with BenQ or Acer.

I saw this phone and I thought it was the SE at first sight. The menus looked identical and almost with the design...But its phillips? and also a linux powered smartphone? |

hmm...acer or benq probably do not manufacture cd writers themselves..possibly the same OEM has supplied to both companies which sell the product under their brandname

id read somewhere about benq being out of s korea and i have an acer laptop..the documentation indicates acer as based in taiwan...anyway they seem to be the same...but marketing diff products under two brand names
