Hi,

I was a big Nokia fan (series 40 only as I can't stand their Symbian interface). Switched to SE with the V800 and the K750i - no looking back now, these two phones have got a great UI.

The other good thing abouut SE is that they don't employ drug-crazed 6 year olds as their designers, just look at Nokia's recent phones to see what I mean, plus the fact that you can update the phone firmware without having to send your phone off etc.

Every phone has bugs in the software and improvements are always made to the firmware but Nokia don't want to make it easy to fix these issues.

Lol that was cool man. I have gone through a variety of phones.my first se was the one my dad bought some 3yrs ago, am mp3 flip phone. After that its been only nokia, i loved the 3200 my parents got me 2yrs ago when i was in 12th, kids thought that was cool but when i got my k700i things changed. I now detest that grainy nokia display and connectivity issues but i do miss their good keypads, some designs and the brand. I wish se would advertise their phones more and consider india as a growing market.

some designs of Nokia were tempting to me. But the small screens (STN, 4096 colours), scared me of. models like 3200, 6820. Symbian 60 interface I like, but those phones are too brick like for me.
Everything was ugly, but your beautiful face.

Same feelings here. I had bought a nokia 3660 when it came out, because my friend greatly recommended it. Sold it in a week because i hated the symbian interface. A simple operation like changing the wallpaper took me 2 days to figure out though i had had a 6610 before. And the brick factor too. But things have changed now and the 7610 was a useably small phone, and i've become used to the s60 interface after using friends' phones, so my next phone could be a nokia. I am eyeing the n-series.
