Well, All Nokias BT phones support that Handsfree-AG too (The old N6310 non-i calls it Handsfree-Unit for some reason), and the purpose of the profile is strictly to work with BT car installation kits, so this probably means that the next T68i will work with Nokias car kits (and everybody elses).
If this will be a software upgrade or not is an open question

I think it will be cool when/if all cars were delivered from the factory with BT hands-free kits, so that we didn't need special versions for different handsets. That way my phone would work even in a rental car... Switching off the radio on incoming calls, maybe using the stereo speakers for sound, and maybe even anouncing the callers ID on the main diagnostics screen in the car... Momentarily replacing ie. the distance counter or the clock?
