i have heard that the w800 battery is supperior to the k750i so if the phones are basically the same in principle will you be able to put w800 battery into k750 and get improved battery length |

I think you missunderstood something. The K750 and W800 have the same batteries. The W800 can have its phone function turned off and hence can work longer in media player mode. |

Yes, hardware wise they will be the same but the W800 firmware will allow Flight Mode as mentioned. This will produce the extra battery life but with Flight Mode off and hence the phone on they should be the same

i really hope the w800 will come out in other colors too, or maybe someone will come out with a way to upgrade the k750i to the w800 firmware. |

Do you not like the white and orange? I love it, looks much nicer than the black K750 imho

i have always been a fan of black. I also never like orange. Maybe if it were blue. |

Fair enough. I'm sure there will be other colours but maybe not initially.
I also prefer the silver K750/D750 to the black.

i wish there were a plain white one... but thats not what this thread is for.
same phoen basically = same battery.
i do wonder if anyone will ever be able to upgrade the k750 to w800 FW
