Why wont the Sony Ericsson mobile phone monitor recognise my phone! |

I just installed the sony ericsson software that came with my K700i and i am using a third party usb cable to connect my phone to my pc. However the sonyericsson software wont recognise my phone!!! and i cant figure out for the life of me why not?! also windows trys to install hardware drivers when i insert the usb cable but then says it cant find any appropriate ones. Do i need to get drivers from somewhere?!

Your cable should have come with a CD which includes the drivers for the cable.In Most cases the CD also has an installer which will do the driver installation automatically.
Dont use the phone monitor. It's slooooooow ! Download and use k700 dateimanager from http://k700.hitziger.net
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !! |

Enable some of the com ports in the settings. Its how I got my K700 and S700 to work.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |
