Is there any way to install apps on the phone without doing it via the browser?

I tried M2M messenger for the K700i but it told me i had the wrong version of Java

Anyone know of an MSN Messenger app that will work on my phone?

Sending a .jar file to the phone by Bluetooth, IR or cable would work.
The phone will recognise the .jar file and install automatically (assuming the app is compatible)

Try Emsn...it used to work like a charm on the k700i...you need to have full web gprs active though..you can get it at www.getjar.com

eMSN seems to work but the user experience is a little pants - my last phone was an SPV c500 which included an MSN client

Thanks for the assistance though

The c500 runs on windows mobile so that's why it has msn built in. Also it is a smartphone and hence is much more flexible and has greater capabilities. The P-Series have many msn clients available, again the advantage of being a smartphone
