SMS Message Alerts on K750i |

I've had my K750i for a couple of days now and I've just discovered that you can't use any other tones for SMS alerts apart from the terrible preset ones!
Has anyone discovered or developed a way around this or does anyone know if SE are bringing out firmware to fix/allow this? |

Hey jeko.uk
Thx - after some searching, I've found out how to do it. I'll test it later when it's not so late!
I've noticed though, that it'll only let you use one tone for ALL messages - I'd liked to have seen something like on my MotoV635 where if a particular ringtone is assigned to a person, their messages has the same alert also ... |

You can't have different message tones for different contacts unfortunately

If you use a program like Audacity (free), you can take a track off a CD and cut out a sound bite, save it as an mp3 and use it! It's great fun! ^__^ |
