Need help, Please...
Switched from Nokia 8290 (Nokia user for years) to t68i.
Need to set up several string dials and can't figure out how to do it with SE.
What I need to do is something like this:
dial number: 333-3333
pause (and wait for my imput)
send string: 3333
pause (and wait for my imput)
send: "*" key
pause (and wait for my imput)
send string: 3333333
This is a piece of cake with Nokia, as I'm guessing it might be with t68i. I just don't know how to do it and have run searches for info and can't find any.
Your help will be greatly appreciated, because I have several of these I need to setup.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but I think it's something like this...
You want it to:
dial 333-3333
Wait for the recipient to answer...
Wait for 3 seconds...
Send 3333
Wait for 3 seconds...
Send *
Wait for 3 seconds...
Send 3333333
If that's it then input this in your phone book...
3333333p3333p*p3333333
p is a 3 second pause and is obtained when you press * for 3 seconds

Hi.
Will not work that way when saved and assigned speed dialing number....only seems to work that way when a number is entered manually.
Ok, maybe we can try it another way: How do I insert a "stop and wait", rather than a pause? That way I can press a key (Yes?) and send the next string.

Hi.. I'm not sure what string dialing is? Can somebody explain it too me? I hope someone can explain it in german or norwegian to me, but english works fine to me too... Cheers sven

Ok, a member of another forum (indirectly) provided me the answer:
set it up.Then copy from phone to Simm card.
String dialing for the other member:
When you want the phone to automatically dial more numbers for you after you connect. Example: When calling your bank or to get credit card info, you are asked by machine to imput numbers. String dialing will do this for you.
