Hi,
Finally I have given my K 700i for repair..just wanted to upload the cost of repair just incase any one else will need it in the future.
I have given the phone to ACCEL ICIM Frontline.
K 700i LCD- Rs 2200 ( USD $ 48)
Key Pad PCB - Rs 550 (USD $ 12)
Joy Stick - Rs 150 (USD $ 3)
and service charge...!
BTW Could someone please tell me Which is latest Firmware R2AE or something.

R2AE is the latest, I got it confirmed from Accel-Chennai-India. I even used the SE DSS-25 and tried the Sony Ericsson Update Service and it also says R2AE. |
