Can anyone tell me if the K750i uses the same battery as the K700i, as they look similar in the pictures I have seen..

Nope, they're quite different. The K750 battery is smaller and it fits in a different way to the K700 battery. [addsig]

Yes I did a search, and found several hundred messages about the K750i, and after 30 minutes of looking (and finding nothing) I decided to post my own question. !

I must say it can be pretty difficult to search for specific topics so I don't think the question was unreasonable. :)

Agreed. Bashing people for not 'searching' is something that is becoming more frequent on forums these days.

As for the battery, not only is the K750i battery smaller but, paradoxically, it has actually a longer life being 900 mAh as opposed to the K700's 700mAh.

I was comparing the two batteries yesterday and the K750 battery is shorter and wider, about the same volume.

I don't see any similarity but as a picture is worth a thousand words...

You can't change the batteries around, they won't fit.

u guys have to be kidding me...

first of all. posting the same topic over and over again creates a chaotic forum.
if ur gone one day then theres a big chance you might have lost an interesting topic just because every1 posts everything in 2-3 diff. threads.
in the end it just doesnt benefit any1.

As for the guy who posted this thread, he said he did a seach and didnt find anything.
What kind of a search did u do ? are u kiddin me?
I simply typed 'K750 battery' and immediately got this thread: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=93289#post1270495

totally agree. isn't it though, then the job of a forum moderator to make such useful threads sticky? [addsig]
