On my trusted t610 I could hold down C and toggle between silient and non-silent; this doesn't appear to work on the K750.

Anyone else experiencing this?

on he K750 you have two choices.

you can press and hold the # key (as before) or you can find the "silent mode" option on the new activity button (the one between the left and right soft key buttons

edit: but yes, the C key no longer control silent mode on the K750

They do have a silent logo on the # key

you said press the # key as before. the # doesnt usually turn silent on does it? I thought it usually displayed the screen saver...

"as before" meaning on the previous model, i.e. the K700

but you are right. prior to that it did activate the screen saver but I always thought that was a fairly useless function really

yeah, I don't know what more SE can do if they put a logo on the key and people aren't able to figure out this key is the "silent mode" key

well i dont think ppl really look at the number, star and hash key since they're the same all the time. and if uve owned a mobile for more than a year u never look at them, whenever u use them u operate by touch, u dont need to look at them in order to find them.
so i guess its quite logical that ppl dont see it.
