Since it's still arumor to be confirmed, although the sourse is quite reliable, I would think its only for the 2MP cameras. Afterall the 1.3 MP are now going to be used in K600 and Ellen and maybe more, so it would be logical for the upgrades come on the new phones first. Although you could still argue that the S700 has CCD, but then at least for Z800 I don't see where it could go. |

Eldar did stated though at his Z800 review that the shape and size could actually fit CCD modules into it, but its the pricing that's keeping it from doing so. |

I think se should improve the camera on z800i(no need to use ccd)...take a look at d500 and 6630,this 2 phones also used cmos but the pic quality were good.. |

No need for it really...
I guess SE probably won`t take the effort to do that, they will probably release a new handset to replace the z800i sometime next year perhaps, a z900i perhaps...
BTW the camera is sufficient for this handset I think! |
