Hi, Im new to this so go easy on me! I've recently purchased a F500i SE and have discovered that I can't use MP3's as a ringtone. Wondered if anyone can help me please? Your help and sarcasm much appreciated! |

Cheers mate. Just realised that i too have been cursed with a dreaded Vodafone mobile. Question to anyone thats listenin, my F500i, will it need "flashing" or just de-branding to play mp3's as ringtones??? Or do I just need to download this DRM thingy???? Also, how do you get the picture of your mobile under your name???

about the mobiles photo it is the post counts matters 
u need more post count to get it (the higher post the clear the mobile's photo)

Hi @sony convert! Nice jihad warrior name :-D Welcome to Esato. I myself would like to see less sarcasm and more inoffensive wit here. But if sarcasm's part of your diet then i guess it won't hurt. Sarcasm between two good friends is like a friendly fencing match. As for your ringtone problem, let's wait for some expert advice which would surely come soon. For the avatar, edit your profile and choose a phone. It's faded at first but it'll become dark when you reach a certain number of posts. Cheers!

flashing SHOULD afaik(as far as i know, if you didnt know what it means) remove branding as thats whats supposed to happen with my k7, only voda mp3 downloaded from live! will work as mp3 ringtones. And get 10 for a mobile piccy, 50 and it will become dark as it can get afaik

Ive just ordered a SE dcu-11 usb data cable, will that be ok to use to flash my phone?????? Dont really wanna spend a load of money just to be able to use MP3s as ringtones
