Hi, I'm looking to buy a K750 on o2. I was wondering where would be the cheapest place to go? The best place so far I found is this one:
Mobile Shop - o2 100 - Half Price for 6 months (+ 3 months double calls and texts). Phone is free.
Could anybody suggest a better price? Thanks very much,
Tom

I got, from the O2 high street store:
£30 a month
400 xnet anytime minutes
100 texts
free phone
After 6 months it's reduced to 200 mins and 50 texts.
However I got a better deal on o2 online, so I'm getting rid of the offline one. |

its hard to say without knowing what your contract requirements are for me orange online plan- 120xnet mins 250 texts and k750 for £30 is a good deal as i know i wont spend more than £25 A MONTH and will use all the texts and free mins
you may find cheaper ones but if you go over you freebies every month and you spending more then after 12months it might not work out cheaper |

Well it means you get a fairly unbranded unlocked phone for £276 (downgrade after 6 months to £16 a month).
Seems like a pretty good deal to me, especially with the calltime and messages you get. |

How do you do this, what's the cheapest tariff you can drop down to and is there any penalty clause?
I can't find anything about this on the O2 site.

yeah o2, or any other network won't shout about the fact you can drop to a lower contract, but you can - just phone them up & switch when the time is right
quote from the kind o2 lady that served me when i asked the question 'yes you can drop to a lower tariff...but i shouldn't really be saying that'

I am on Select 500 after getting Orange to do a price match with 3 last year. It works out at about £21.27 for Select 500 and then £1.70 for Text 30.
Only odd thing is, the additional services part of my bill which reads: "EQ Non DD Charge - O2: 05 March-04 April: £2.55" Even wierder was for some reason this month it was -£1.17 which was odd.
But hopefully Ill be able to wangle a free K750 as my upgrade though I don't have much scope to barter for that. |
