Hi evry1..
I am about 2 buy a Nokia 6630 or a 3230(am confused).. Da main diff. b/w these 2 is 3G/UMTS wich is there in 6630..My query is that can we xpect 3G services in India in the near future??? Is it viable 2 spend the xtra money on 6630 jst 4 3G? Pls help me if nebody hv some info! n i request u not 2 start Nokia-bashing coz i need a decent camera/fone tht costs less... Pls help!

There are plans for 3G in India although unfortunately, I don't it will be in the near future.

If things work out, 3g would be here very soon. As soon as 2006! But nothing is confirmed as of now. |

No point buying a 3g phone in India so early coz by the time 3g is here your phone will be outdated....

Bsnl has announced their 3g service ll start from december. And by the time 3g starts there ll be lots me phone in the market. Instead of getting a blokia have a look a SE k600. :-p .

there is no point in buying a 3g phone right now,even if they intro 3g in 2006,itll take time to get the coverage and get everything right,so at fall of 2006 or 2007,start looking for a 3g phone

This is horrible...!A lot of countries r hving 3G services from as long as 2 bloody yrs..n many r now adopting even 4G!!! Here even EDGE services r a novelty!! F**KING Hell! Thn y the heck cmpnies like Nokia r launchin 3G /video cnfrncing fones tht dnt hv ne use here in this primitive country...?Jst 2 fool people??

6630 is a gr8 fone at its price.Even if u cant enjoy 3g now u can obviously enjoy edge services in india like hutch tv.TRAi has announced its spectrum policy about launch of IMT2000(3g) and the providers have been given green signal for 3g.

Dont go 4 3G ven mass india is still movinon 2G! If u hav budget go n buy 6681- superb fone i used 4 a day. 3230 is a xerox copy of it.

here in India with License Raj i dont think we will have 3G for 3 yrs atleast. Operators wont invest cause very few people will go for it and more importantly the stupid Congress Government and the great Italian Gandhi ( this is why i love being in a democratic country) will not give a license. Further Orange cc guys dont even know what 3G is so i dont think we should get to excited...... |
