Hello,
I have a few questions,
My brother and I both have a T68, he got his b4 mine, as soon as it was
released.
His version
Software:
R1b

I got mine, about 3 weeks ago, it also came with R1B.

But I noticed that his screen was/is much whiter than mine, compared to his,
mine is very yellowish, even though I only noticed it after comparing it
with his. I looked again at the firmware version and his is exactly like
mine except for the LCD SW Versions,

His says:
test: 0

and mine says,
test: 200109110

Since my phone is newer, he is afraid to update his firmware, since its much
nicer to have a screen brighter and whiter.

Any coments? Is it just a coincidence?
Do I have a problem with my display?
If I get a firmware upgrade, will it make my screen look like my brothers,
or it will look the same?
If my brother upgrades, will his screen look like mine or will it stay the
same?

Thank for any info.

Are they the same?

Maybe it's your contrast settings (you can set the contrast on 2 different places, one in the service-menu and one in the regular menu) check if the contrasts are set in the same way on both phones...

That was the first thing that I thought. I quickly looked for the contrast settings, and no luck, I couldnt even get close to the white color on my brothers phone.
Anyways, thanks for the idea.

Same version information here. (ie it says "Test:0 Current:200109110") My handset was replaced and updated to R1C and it is a bit yellow-er than my firend's t68 which is a bit more white/blue. This is most noticable in a dark room (ie movie theater). However, I've also found that the angle you view the screen at can change the yellow vs white tint of the screen. I'm guessing it just has to do with the viewing angle, but I could be wrong.

Hi all!
I got my phone upgraded it today and the colors do look better.
I'll have to compare it with my brothers tomorrow to see if they look the same.
The upgrade fixed many bugs, I'm very happy with my T68 now.
(Went from R1B to R2A)

Is it to do with the country where the phones are manufactured? From the couple of phones that I've seen, the one made in Malaysia seemed to have a yellowish tinge, whereas my one made in Sweden has a more blue colour.

I dont think it has to do with the country that the phone was manufactured, since my phone and my brother s are both made in sweden.
