I need help. Can u tell me if I can buy an unlocked phone in Toronto??? or Do u know any stores that sells only phones unlocked or is there anyway to unlock it without having to pay??? I know that the gsm carriers in that area are FIDO and Rogers, they both sell locked phones, and Rogers unlocks it for 250CAD$ , thats way too high!.

You can go to Howardforums.com and buy one. That's where I bought one. And everyone that sells their phone on that site has it unlocked and unbranded and they all live in toronto. So you can pick it up locally. |

like he said howardforums generaly c&c telecom has the best pricess for latest unlocked phones but others not much more within $22-30 dollars difference now if you wanna sign a contract and would settle for older phone ( everything rogers and fido sell is 2-3 years old models i mean with exception of v3 razr sold by rogers but even that one 1 year old) just buy it at rogers or fido and unlock it 30-50 dollars in toronto depending on a model same dealers that sell on howardforums also provide unlocking and/or firmware upgrade and /or language change service
the only phones u can unlock for free are some nokias and u can google for free dct3 dct4 calculators and input via keys
note: max 5 tries after that can only be unlocked via cable and that not free anymore lol

I had a good deal at www.phattone.com for 4 dollares I get that all i want... lots of mp3 or midi for FIDO and Rogers phone |

They have 2 locations in downtown, if you pay cash, will be even cheaper. |
