NO, the screen is exactly the same size. 176 x 220 so games and wallpaper should work fine however as vlammetje said in this thread earlier today themes will probably work but due to the higher complexity in the K750 they may not look so good

Yep, screen is the same size. Or more importantly the same resolution as just detailed by masseur

The desktop of the K750i is 176x220 but the K700 is 176x176.
Also the K750i themes appear to be the same as the K600s.

K600i has a smaller screen so i doubt K750i themes would match

According to the Themes editor the resolutions are the same. Even if the screen is smaller, if the resolution is the same then the themes will work on both.

I think there is an ambiguity between the screen size and screen resolution.
To me, screen 'size' and screen 'resolution' is different. Two phones with the same screen resolution its not necessarily meant they have the same sreen size.
Screen resolution describe by pixels, screen size described by diagonal inch size.
S700 screen, for example, have resolution as the same as most Win Mobile PDA (320 X 240 pixels). But the screen size is much smaller than any Win Mobile PDA.
I want to know whether K750 have the same screen 'size' with K700?
The advantages of larger screen size it will look more comfortably for seeing.
The disadvantages to have larger screen size with the same resolution is the picture will look more grainy than than the smaller size one.
S700 provide very crisp, almost like paper written pictures in its screen. In any Win Mobile PDA you'll see pixelated pictures, thats why they invented Clear Type. |

now i've only tried this without the phone.. but making K750 themes in SE themes creator 1.7, you can make full-screen 176 x 220 background pictures OR add the status bar, softkey top and bottom images (on top of the background).
so it looks like we can create full-screen animated backgrounds on the K750 which (i presume) will not be compatible with the K700 (K700 uses 176 x 176 animated standby only). and the K750 has the possibility of animating buttons, unlike the K700. in other words the themes may not always work for both phones, i guess we'll just have to try! |

oops.. quite right. while writing my K750i review I couldn't decide whether to start with the framework of the K700 review or the V800 review and I ended up starting with the V800 review but for some reason when answering this question I thought I had started with the K700 and so got myself quite confused by what the K750 screen was the same size as
so, the K750i has the same screen resolution has the internal screen of the V800 and not the K700i
appologies for my error in my first reply
