A couple T616 Problems |

I have had my Sony Ericsson t616 phone for about a year, and I have now came acorss some problems, first off the joystick doesn't move up down left or right anymore, but when I click on the joystick it registers more like an enter button. My second and MOST annoying thing is, I think there may be a short in the antenna or something...
Even though my phone shows full service I cant recieve calls or text messages, and I cant send calls without it being REALLY staticy... and this is with 5 bars keep in mind... In certain areas I can recieve texts and calls, I have to talk around my room setting my phone in different areas and calling it to find a place where I can recieve messages and calls... Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have any advice? Thanks |

you say you've had your phone for about a year, if it is less than a year, then the phone is under warranty. Hurry up and call technical support or your service provider. I assume you have Cingular since it is a T616. Cingular has been very good about replacing faulty T616s to me and to my friend who just recently received a refurbished one.
The joystick issue is pretty common, don't really know what the other problem could be. It would be nice if these phones lasted forever, but after a year of moderate use they start to show some wear and tear.
