It is marginally faster than T9. There are also a few quirks, like if you include an apostrophe, your SMS may be split up into parts.
You still have to wait for the phone to catch up with your keystrokes in R1B, I'm not sure if R2A firmware solved this problem. |

i just got it today for $19 and i think it is worth the money...it will not let you jump out the chair but sms or email is now much easier then before...
the only thing is, it still have to wait that the telephone catches up... |

The Ericsson Chat Board is not 100% compatible with the T68 as the functions along the top do not seem to work correctly - and in Carphone Warehouse they are £6.99 as i work for them and got a T68 for free and a the T68 BT HBH-20 BT headset!

When I got my phone from Carphone Warehouse in Watford about 2 months ago, I asked how much the Chatboard was he said £19.99. That's why I didn't get one...

got my chatboard here in saudi arabia for 100 saudi riyals (about 27 us$).
it's very useful especially for long sms or when entering long wap url's. very handy too when entering new contact information.
noticed this slight "bug" though--when writing new sms, it always starts in small-case.
to shift to upper-case (capital letters), you need to press shift-space 2x, but then you'd need to press shift-space again after your first letter, if you want lower case letters to follow your first capital letter. this is quite annoying. any of you guys experience this prob too?
also noticed that the chatboard website (www.chatb.com) isn't working properly. tried to post a message in the boards using my chatboard, no can do. the web-based phonebook's useful though, but then mobile internet already has that (and more), right? |
