K750 out on 02 - do yourself a favor and stay away from them! |

I've got my K700 last August on 02 just because Orange customised the phone and I did not like that.
There is the worst system there can be on 02 monthly contracts: If you want to find out your remaining free minutes you have to call customer services (you pay from your inclusive minutes for the call:-)) - on avarege it taking around 10-15 minutes - so your minutes are going fast, after couple of times I stopped doing that. True, there is online service to check your balances but it's not convenient to me. Another thing that 02 does not have a message delivered confirmation service so you cannot now when and if the sms has been delivered - annoying.
Please take this into account when considering 02, I cannot wait until August to change back to Orange - I never had any problems with them when I was on pay as you go.
Good luck. |

I have a couple of contracts with O2 at the moment and have had absolutely no problems with them. I have always found them quite helpful. I must admit that the delivery report bit can be a bit annoying but if I need a delivery report I just put *0# at the start of the message to get a report.

That's what the Outgoing calls timer is for on your phone!! You reset it at the start of your billing cycle and then you know exactly how much you've used. No calls to Customer Services required!
Or as you say, you can easily log-on to your Online Billing, which gives you a full itemised listing of calls even if you don't pay for itemised billing.
And finally, its common knowledge that on O2 *0# at the start of any text message gives you a received notice.

I have got 4 o2 accounts and I have no problems at all! I choose 02 because I could dial 0845 and 0870 nos with the inclusive minutes and it give me the freedom to use my phone in HK with a different networks SIM card. ( Their contract phones are always unlocked ) Their customers service department is getting better too! o2 would always be my first choice mobile networks! |

I have been with them since the days of Genie with 2 contracts and never had an issue. plus they gave me 1 k750 today and will give me another (the wifes) in about 10 days time. did the same with k700i last year.
. . Proud owner of the K750i-converted to w800 but now flogged on ebay and have the superb N80. |

Thanks, did not know about the *0# - so that's solved (still not the most convenient). Regarding getting the balance - would still prefer to have automated service rather than using my inclusive mins to call customer services or checking on-line.
Liked the conspiracy theory:-) |

Didn't you read my post earlier? You do have an automated service! It's built-in to your phone and its called the Outgoing Calls Call Timer function. How much easier do you want it to be?

Yeah lay off o2! they do a pretty good damn job, as far as mobile phone companies go, best call success rate in the uk! and yes you do have online billing, customer services and indeed the built in message and call timers on your phone. SO stop the squealing, unless you have something to squeal about, and at least we treat our customers fairly in giving upgrade deals the same as new customers now! |

I have been with O2 for several years now, no problems at all, yes, there customer service can be a pain at times but its got a lot better.
For me O2 have the best online deals with inclusive texts and GPRS, also, like someone else said they include 0845/0870 numbers in your free minutes - when i was Vodafone, i kept getting stung for ringing, say the Waterboard or Gas company during the day!
Also the O2 branding is probably the best of all the networks, very minimal and yes the don't lock their phones. |
