Hi guys, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. Great site you've made here. I updated to my K750i a few months ago and I love it. My only real gripe is the MP3 player volume is too low. I used SUES to update and I'm now using V R1DB001, but I didn't really notice a difference.
Some Q's:
Will the R1CA021 FW make a difference, and if so, where can I get it? I already have PhoneXS so I'm ready to change.
Is there any FW that makes an improvement to reception power?
Thanks to all |

@copracr :
i updated my K750i to R1DB001 and switched back to R1CA021 and did not notice any increase in sound volume. I think both FW versions sound roughly the same.
3 possible solutions to your problem :
1. easy solution : use the equalizer to increase the volume output. not much of a solution, i admit
2. software solution : use mongoose's acoustic file (look for a thread called "getting rid of hissing noise"), which boosts sound output. I haven't tried this acoustic file, personally i use aksd's file which in my opinion is great. But most people who have used moongose's say the volume is very high.
3. costly solution : not sure which type of headphones you're using now. I use HPM-70 and they definitely sound much louder than the standard stereo headphones you get in the K750i retail package. So loud that for some songs, i need to use the equalizer to bring it down to an acceptable volume.
Hope this helps
