Found another bug. Apart from my phone freezing up once, my SHORTCUTS keep changing back to DEFAULT... this has happend 4 times when I change profiles.

Change profile, then right move the joystick, define a shortcut, then change profile, then go back, then right click again and you'll see that whaever you defined is gone and the 'CREATE NEW SHORTCUT' button shows up again!!!!

Can someone confirm this bug please?
thanks

Mine doesn't appear to have that bug.

A correction to my last post, this occurs when the phone locks up (seems to be when the keylock is on) and I pull the battery out then power cycle. When it comes back, the shortcuts are all defaulted.

Good to hear there is a firmware update on its way. I feel really lucky to have a pratically problem-free one. I hope the update wont change that :S

Jut spoke to SonyEricsson UK - firmware update in the very near future - should be next week

I gave them a ring to find out if i should return my phone to phones4u or wait - he recommended waiting.

Spoke to phones4u - the 14 days return policy is 30 days for a phone with a fault - since i ordered the phone sunday gives SE enough time for a new firmware so i think i may hang on rather than risk the royal mail or phone with other faults.

Guess I'm just bored here at work.

If you change the id of the update service url from the k700 id to the k750 id it goes as far as letting you tick all the checkboxes for the required steps.

I have a pentium 133, my unit is fully charged etc...

Clicking "next" though results in a 404 error...

/updateservice/nocache/10242/stepCheck.jsp was not found on this server.

damn thats good, i still cant make my mind up between the z800i or the k750i, i no the z800i stores 75 txt i think, but i like the fact that you can recored a video clip while the flip is closed kind of a top secret operation and thats its got 2 light than one.at the end of the day might go for the z800i coz of the 3g. t-mobile uk says there 3g is working but its not avialable in london and that the signal is very weak i guess its on trial still for the little towns to use it.

The link to the Update Service has now appeared on the Support page for the K750i. It's not working just yet though... Can't be long now....

Mine intermittently locks up after being in standby. O2 have said they're going to swap it for me when the new batch come in. Sound likely ?

I think I was misunderstood on another thread...

The SEUS link has now been added to the K750i support page. This was not previously the case, where people had linked to it by substituting the K750i's ID number in the url. It's now publicly there.

I'm just letting people know it's imminent.
