Try setting up the 'human inerface devise', which supports wireless mouse etc.
You should be able to do this through your bluetooth software settings. My software (belkin) has a bluetooth setup wizard, hopefully you will have a simular option.

1.maybe you need to update the drivers of ur build-in BT.
2.Try restaring the phone and PC.
3.Try repairing the phone and pc.
4.Remove the phone as a "phone" from the bt software and now try to discover it as a HID

@dr_thug
I'm suggesting you set up the human interface for a bt mouse etc (you don't select the k700 for this). I found that once I had set this up I had no problems using the remote.
Edit: I didn't do a search to setup the human interface ? All you should be doing is telling it you are going to use a mouse etc and then the relevant drivers should be updated for this function , assuming your using xp.

@marlonski,
thanks but its not working...in the bt setup wizard,i choose the hid.it searches for my bt fone in mouse&keyboard mode by default.it does not show any results.so i have to check the option..show all devices...and then it shows my fone...
then in my fone,i go to the remote control....desktop and PIN no: ... then my pc asks for PIN no: ...then my fone shows this desktop interface....but when i press any button,it shows...add laptop...enter PIN no: and the whole thing goes on and on...
yup am using xp sp2. |

@Dr_thug
Do you have an option in the wizard whereby it says something like ' I know the service I want to use and I want to find the bluetooth device that provide this service' ? From there you select the human interface device.
If you haven't tried that one mate then have a go.

Sorry, but I can't think of anything else that marlonski haven't suggested, that's why I didn't post anything here. Setting it up in my PC was not very difficult.
resistance is futile. |
