Guys, my k500i on/off button (you know the one at the very top next to the infared) flashes red.
What I dont get is that the battery bar is well over half full !!
Is this indicating something more than just charge the battery?
Any help appreciated. |

That RED thing flashing should only be felt - YES, when the battery is already on it's - BRINK mate! I wonder how that can happen if you said that the battery meter is still 50% full

I think the threshold for that led is pretty high. It turns green when the batt. is at 80..90%.

It's a known bug with K500, K700 & S700.
It should only flash on low battery & remain on when on charge.
However it sometimes flashes or comes on for no apparent reason.
It won't do any harm & there's no fix so just ignore it

. I would love it if my power led starts to flash as well :S .. I would become very easy to find the phone in a dark room .. and by the way .. It never turns green on my phone .. If the phone shuts off due to low battery .. and I plug in the charger .. It goes on for a few seconds before the display comes on .. and then the led goes off .. never tells me when Its finished charging ..

They don't turn green. That's not a fault, they just don't have a green light.
The P-Series do but that's about all

then RedidentEvil might be interpreting it wrong ... We are talking about the red led which is under the power button .. not the battery icon that changes its color according to the remaining charge .. |

Yep. I'll second that.
The red LED (under the On/off switch) only flashes when you are on low battery. There is NO green LED.
The coloured battery indicator on the top right of the phone's screen shows you how much battery you have left. It goes from green, to orange and then red - With the level slowly changing when the battery is being used up. |
