A couple of questions that might be of common interest.. |

I have a couple of questions that I haven't found any answers to after using the phone for a while.. Well, here goes:
1. What is the Real time clock in the service menu?
2. Does the T9 only really store the words if you get the pop-up message where it says that the word doesn't exist? Seems as though it doesn't save a word if you manually choose to just change a word.
3. Why won't the phone vibrate when receiving an incoming SMS? Does this apply to just some specific profiles?
4. Is it possible to turn off the servicetones without activating silent for all tones (servicetones are eg. when turning your phone on/off, when trying to access an unavailable meny - for instance the communicam in fun & games when a cam is not connected - and when you type an invalid word in T9)..
Hope anyone can help!
Especially question 4 is really annoying. Even though I have the discrete profile on, the tone when I type an SMS and it says "Word not in dictionary" is irritating and inappropriate |

1. It's the phones internal clock circuit. Not very often it will broke down, but if it does, you will notice it cause then the phone will be sloooooooow |

Hi,
thanks for the reply!
It will be kind of hard to tell though, as the phone is always slow
But as long as it says "Real time clock OK", then I guess everything's fine |

trust me... you will see it the startup is quite normal, but then the phone can take up to 30-45s before responding when a button is pressed... ok, phones are slow, but not that slow |

Alright then.. But I sometimes experience problems with startup.. The phone suddenly hangs or turns off, and then when I try switching it on again nothing happens (or at least I get tired of waiting for anything to happen )..
So the only solution seems to be to take out the battery, and leave it out for about 30 secs. before plugging it back on again and turn on the phone.. |
