Bluetooth dongle not working anymore |
CantonMan Joined: Aug 21, 2004 Posts: 15 PM |
Hi. I bought a bluetooth dongle from ebay for my T630 and it was working perfectly fine. I think it was until I installed SP2 that I started having problems. When it's plugged in, my PC can't find it. Help anyone? |

have you tried uninstalling the dongle software and doing a fresh installation...then re-pair your phone and pc..
you would most probably have to roll back the win xp bt drivers ....but try it anyway to check if it helps

I've just installed XP Service Pack 2 & my BT failed yesterday. I just stuck the Duo in instead though so didn't investigate further.
Seems I may have the same problem

This has been discussed many times already. Do a search. It is also described, and a solution given, in the MS knowledgebase.

What brand is your BT dongle? What BT driver did you use?
resistance is futile. |

Right - i hold no responsibility for your PC getting damaged - but this worked 100% on my laptop (XP Home SP2).
THIS WILL ONLY WORKIF YOU WISH TO INSTALL 3rd PARTY DRIVERS FOR BT!
