In the past I have used the Opera browser (which supports WML) and a program called 'The Proxomitron' to change the HTTP Headers User-Agent of Opera to look like its an SE phone.

This allowed me to log-on to the WAP part of 'www.sonyericsson.com/fun/' using a computer to download themes, apps etc. rather than use my phone.

For some reason this no longer works, everytime I access the SE site it takes me to the web-site not the WAP site.

Does anyone know how to do this now? I want to download some Java apps and keep backups on the computer and transfer via Bluetooth.

Thanks.

Thanks, but it's currently off-line:

"Sorry, Wapsilon is currently off line. We need the processing power to handle the torrents of spam coming our way. Please visit Wapsilon again tomorrow."

Any others?

Sonyericsson rearranged their site. Now you can download their content only via wap. And you can download content only for your model. Problem is that every device identifies itself on access, so does the Opera. Of course you can emulate, but only other pc browsers. If only there were some app that would allow you to emulate phones. Can some nokia user go to se.wap and try to dl something for say k500?
