T68 XP software ? |

I don’t know if anyone can help, Ericsson has so far not replied to my emails with reference to when their PC software will support both XP and Office XP (2002).
I see the latest XTNDConnect should work, but at a cost and not over IR. Anybody else got a clue. Or maybe arguably the most technically advanced phone available only works with OLD operating systems !

I have used XTDconnect software to sync my calendar, phonebook, sms and phone settings on Win XP and Office XP over IR. Initially you will get an error message during transmission of push.txt file from the phone, but this can be corrected by opening wireless link and setting the destination folder. Somebody in this forum discussed this already, I think it's about synchronizing thru wap.
But I have to admit it works better on Win Me. |

I have WinXP and Office XP and I dont have any problems sycronizing my phone with outlook. I changed the IR speed to 9600 and I use the software for T65
filename:
Package_4_for_Ericsson_PFW_version_R2A04.exe
Works great!

thanks for the tip, im running on the same setup with XP, and using the ma-600 irda adapter. didnt work at first but after i lowered down the baudrate like what you've stated on your post but this time i set it to 19200. it work like a charm. huh! been strugling to make this work for days.ahhrgg!! thank you very much!!!!!!!

I too got an email this morning saying xp patch in pipeline (could be a very long pipeline !)
But I could not find the message with the 'push.txt' explanation file any more help anyone ?

If you don't get the message avoid the advice from the matte. It is not a problem.
I use also Win XP professional and XTNDconnect pc for ericcson t68 package_1_PFW_version_R2A04 along with office XP professional and I have no problem. The only thing I did is to remove the tray menu for ericsson phones from the registry (the menu which starts with windows) |
