I've got an Orange K700i which I've previously unlocked. I'm using davinci to upgrade the firmware and file system, or at least try to. I've transformed the CID to 36 to allow me to upload newer firmware.
I've tried R2AL029 and R2AT003 which both will complete the firmware but fail between finishing the firmware and starting the file system with the "connection to phone lost" error. I've tried using a DSS-25 and a T-28 cable, reducing the speeds each time.
I've a fully charged battery and the CDA has been changed to CDA102298/83.
Anyone any ideas? I can use the phone (shortcuts now work, etc) but as the camera driver is still at 3.9 that's unusable. I can get by with just the firmware urpgraded but I'd like to reduce the orangeness of my phone by finishing the file flash too.

I had this too. I spoke to someone from DaVinci and they told me it was a bug in the latest client. The way around it is to flash the main file on its own, followed by the FS on its own, and lastly finalize on its own. [addsig]

Yes, sort of found this out before eating all my nails or removing all my hair! Now running r2ae033 and debranded.

Much worth upgrading to R2AT003?

I don't think it's worth paying another credit for R2AT. It's very similar to R2AE, in fact, virtually identical. I can't find any differences, although I'm sure there are maybe a few bug fixes or such like. [addsig]
