Just a quickie guys, how do I convert a WAV file so that it will play on my K700?

Once I send it to the phone it says "do you want to use this sound now?" I hit yes and it then says "Cannot play this sound"
Then I'll go into the sounds file on the phone, it shows the sound and shows a small red icon which says WAV.
If I select the sound it again says "Cannot play this sound" |

Hmm, it may need to meet certain criteria for the phone to play it (sampling rates etc). I'm sure some of the other forum members can clarify that. In the meantime, you could always take a look at Miksoft's Mobile AMR Converter software, it has the option of converting for WAV to AMR (and vice versa). It's available from www.miksoft.net

I'll just confirm here (and this is mentioned in the manual) that the WAV must be max sampling rate of 16khz
