My k700 should arrive today or tomorrow can't wait.

I was just looking at my favorite internet radio station and they have have a stream up called "3GPP phone" would this be supported by the k700 so i could listen over GPRS on my phone?

Thanks

Edit: this is the stream "3GPP phone" http://www.somafm.com/gs.wml

The K700 should support this as it does support streaming 3GP video so I guess this is just audio stream only.

So yes, the phone should support it.

happy to hear that you've bought a brilliant phone.

don't worry, i've used it once without any trouble. i'll test it again and post more details.

Sean

Tried with GPRS via Telenor (Norwegian Telco); http://www.somafm.com/gs.wml worked fine and clicking on the "Groove Salad" -link on that page gave me "Connecting to mediaserver", then "Connected to mediaserver" followed by a quick 'click' in the headset (like the player on the phone started up), but then it is immediately followed by "Playback Failed" and another 'click' in the headset (probably the player on the phone being shut down again). Any hints as to what could be wrong?
