I have a k508 with chinese and malaysian support and it came in a k508 'i' box but I assume its a 'C' version, since the firmware says something about chinese/asian in it. Its FW version is R2AE0033, and the phone had exactly 11.0 mb free memory after the first master reset.
The phone scores 85 points in high quality and 130 in low quality mode while running Jbench 3D. The international k508 'i' version scores a lot higher than that, nearly a 20% difference. After seeing the Jbenchmark database on their official site, I found that the 'c' versions are scoring significantly lower than the 'i' versions and my scores are in line with the 'c' version scores.
Does this mean that Java 3D games running on my phone would be 20% slower?... or is this just a 'sythetic' test and it scores wouldnt mean much for actual 3D games on the phone?
Is there a way to 'tweak' my phone for better 3D performance that is on par with the international versions? Or can the FW be flashed? Or the chinese support removed?....any help would be appreciated.
