Was playing a game when suddenly my V800 shuts down.. and only the camera flash starts to blink on and off.... waited but it was the same... cudnt do Anything!! only way is to take the batt out.... once again put back back the batt and try to on the phone.. the same thing happens... the camera flash light starts to blink on and off... i've done it several times... including doin it again after an hr.. still same result.. any ideas guys??

My suspect is... SEUS... coz i tried updating it.. but it wasnt successful... coz nothing happens... and it states 'unknown error' but i did that a month ago... i think the effect is taking place of the unsuccessful updating thru SEUS.... but my fone was working fine.. even after that.. only now it starts..

Whatever it is, its not normal and doesnt sound like something you can simply fix by removing the battery. I'd get it in for repair.

It could be the dodgy Vodaphone branded firmware that hasnt properly installed or something.

Online updates can kill your phone. Bring it into a service center and try it out after the fw update.

If I remember somone had the same problem..I think VodaJon but that was something to do with to many games and mp3 on his V800...so you might want to check that and also the duo that its not corrupted.

Sure, why not? if ur phone can open and on without any problemz... then just pretend nothing and flash the latest version of Z800i firmware then is done!!.. or if u prefer go back V800 firmware then.. hehe
