Update: The link for my eBay auction has changed due to the items being relisted (See above for link). Also i am now considering other offers for the SIMcards, either sold as individually or as a bulk of 4.

Update 2: I have now included 4 O2 e-topup swipe cards and the Welcome to the World of O2 infomation leaflet. The P&P has slightly increased to cover the cost of any extra weight.

As the SIMs were not sold, they are back on auction on eBay

The starting bid is cheap so come on and have a look and grab them while stocks last! [addsig]

@ mak_attack: I read posts on another mobile forum from various members confirming that this code actually does work but only on new, unregistered O2 SIMcards. The code is to registers the SIMcard and somehow "fools" the network in thinking its been registered to that person (which is fake), hence giving you the free 300 text (i think for life) without you normally need to top-up a mininum of £10 per month in order to keep and renew the service. Hope that make more sense.

Regards,

It should work, but i'll double check for you. I know there is another type of O2 SIMcard, the O2 Genie (green leaf one) but not sure if the code has been tested on it. Regards,

This is the conclusion from all the information i have gathered about the code from the other mobile forum.

It works both on the Talkalot with Messages/Talkalot with messages and calls and Genie (green leaf) sims. You still have to top a minmium of £10 in-order to get your 300 text allowance activated and before you can use the code.

Basically this is how the code works. As soon as you put thew o2 sim in the phone within 5 minutes of doing this the card will register its self, you should have the balance flash up on the screen. From that time depending on how old the sim is, you will get 100 minutes and 100 texts or 300 texts, but this only lasts for 30 days.

Members have reported that sometimes this code does work in other cases it does, so in theory there is a 50/50 chance that the code may work on some sims while in other cases it may not.

There also may be a possible that O2 may have found out about this code since its been floating around the interenet/mobile forums etc and may have stopped it in order for people to abuse the system. So if that has happened you have to use the minmium of £10 top-up in order to gain you free 300 text allowance. But so far members are still using this code and i guess if you decide to use it, you are trying it your own risk.

Regards,

@ jonesy789: Yeah, there was something similiar like that where you fooled the O2 network regarding you anniversary date (which is the date that you first topped-up with the minmium of £10 inorder to activate you 300 text allowance and need to top by every-month inorder to keep to renew and keep your service active). But O2 eventually found about this and stopped it on thier network as they where properly losing alot of money due to the amount of O2 users using it!
