I've had this T68i for about a month now and it has been like this from the start. Whenever I try to send a text message it get the message - "Saved In Unsent Folder". Then I go to the unsent folder in SMS and it is empty. This happens everytime, so I have no way of sending SMS. Could you please post your ideas etc. on this I would be very grateful.

Thanks Tom. [addsig]

Ok. Do you have the correct sms centre number stored? ask your service provider to know..

Looks like your phone needs a firmware reflash.

Se service centre of course. You got one near? But before that, try the 13 second trick as a last resort. Hope you know about that trick. But i dunno whether it works for your phone..

Yeah I'll try that since the nearest SE Service Centre is 50 miles + away! Not worth for such an old phone and its out of warranty! [addsig]

Go to Data Comm. > Data Accounts> SMS access

set it to GSM then try.
if not set it to GPRS and try.

hope that helps...

Another thing is go to ur sms menu>options>sms type

set it as text.

I'm not taking it to SE, theres no point I will be charged for the service flash and I have to pay to get there. I'll try those two new ideas when I get home tonight and will report back. Thanks again. [addsig]

try cleaning the sim contacts. i used to have that problem and it seems that the phone does not automatically "get" the SMS service that is embedded on the sim card..
