Sorry if this is a duplicate, I am new and yes I did search first!
I have an S700i with software R3L002, my problem is that it will only work once (incoming or outgoing) with my EPOX HS01 bluetooth headset....HELP PLEASE this is driving me nuts (and potentially breaking the law!!!)...oops sorry having used once it refuses to connect unless i rip out battery and start again (not good whilst driving!) |

The new SE implementaiton of bluetooth is really crappy, esp. in the K700 and S700.
Do you have any other bluetooth paired devices to the phone?
Cause that can cause some trouble.

No and in fact I recently exchanged handset (cos I was too lazy to upgrade firmware - why should we fix SE errors and bugs!).
The headset is about 15months old and worked fine with my 610. I do have a dongle but not set up as yet |

The T610 has much better BT implementation,
Not upgrading firmware is idiotic, saying that you shouldnt fix their bugs is more idiotic.
Thats like getting shot in the leg and not going to the hospital because you dont want to fix others mistakes.
Upgrade your firmware, and also make sure you dont have anything paired to the device besides the headset.

Sorry you misunderstand me. I meant that it was easier to change the handset under guarantee than buy a cradle and update. My point was that SE should make this process much easier than they do. Of course I beleive in updating firmware but is my firmware not the latest version?
handset 1 week old it says R3L002. |
