Half life help needed |

Ok,this is probably not the right kind of forum to ask this question in.
I am having trouble connecting to Half life, opp force, counter strike etc, servers using the Quickstart menu in the H/L game menu.
I have the latest versions of the software,but still get the error message cannot connect to server.
If it helps i have had one game of Team Fortress up and running but still cannot connect to any other games.
Any help, guidance - There's a pint in it for the person who help's

ok it says
could not connect to game server
reason: could not complete connection attempt
when connecting manualy the connection times out after 10sec and i get the same error msg
also whats the best site to download custom games?

try the cs forums @ http://www.counter-strike.net (click on forum) they have answers to everything...

I had that problem long ago, I found reinstalling that game fixed everything  |
