navigating through http://www.vodafone.com.au/ I clicked "Vodafone live!" at the top, then "how do I get it" on the left hand side, then "mobile and pda setup" on the left hand side and that opened the wireless data portal which has a configurator

Brb  ill check my ngage and my sis's k700
well ill be damned its locked and i cant see jack on the k700. And ngage is useless. Tell me what options are there....

i already did all of that, all the settings are on my phone....do i have to ring vodafone and maybe activate it or something??

I'm with Telstra in Oz but I am with Vodafone in UK and certainly there you have to get them to enable GPRS on your account so give 'em a buzz
