Right now i have your attention i'm a complete noob when it comes to doing firmware upgrades on phones so i wanna upgrade my firmware from R1LO13 -> R7A011 which i have reason to belive thats the latest now what i need to know is how do i in about doing this what do i need in hardware and in software and no i'm not doing a search as i am no my phone and it takes forever to find anything ok thanks in advance and i hope i'm not being to demanding

I suppose that you have T610!Well,the latest official software version for it,it's R6D005!R7A it's a developers version only & it has a lot of bugs,for example:very poor signal.Also,you can destroy your phone with R7A version as it's not officially.So,go to a service center & have your phone upgraded at R6D005!Hope i helped!Also try a search about:T610 firmware version thread!

Well i'm from australia and i don't think there is such a thing called a se service centre

R7A010 is dev firm
R7A011 is retail firm

also R8 firmware now

And you cannot damage your phone with DEV firmware.

Yes there is but you don't want to search. Too bad. You want to do it yourself, so you need the hardware. But you don't want to search, so I am not sure how you can buy that hardware without searching on eBay.
