K700i Vodaphone Problem |

Hi
I have a Sony Ericsson k700i on Vodaphone. I would just like to know how I update it so that i can use any mp3 as a ringtone, etc. Because at the moment i can only use the ones i buy off vodaphone live, and its costs 3 quid a time, so im starting to get quite fed up of it. I have read a couple of posts about thisa problem already, about upgrading the firmware, but it was a bit confusing. What is it that i actually have to do this and is there any other (cheaper) way to do it aswell.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

youre gonna have to get it unlocked off voda...i dont think just a fw update would solve your particular problem..

Yes that should work, at least it did when I tried it for a friend who has a V800i.
A better alternative would be to unbrand the phone. Vodafone really butcher that firmware.
