I don;t understand what you mean 
Alter functions?? Like make the camera a projector? Make the games menu turn into a fav-take-out-places list?
I don't think anything like that exists anyway

No, there is no infra trick, its way too weak for that action. Its not a smart fone, there are some funny java apps, thats all.
