I've go a P800 now and want to upgrade so that I can get more memory.
I see you can upgrade the the P900 to a P905 and get the support up to 2GB of memory, but the P910 also has support for this.
So I just wondered what is recommended, to buy a P900 and upgrade or buy a P910?

You should concern about the bluetooth as well. P910i can pair more than 1 device which is useful.

But if I upgrade a P900 to P905, will there be any problems with the phone or? like errors or something?

And will it have the same compatibility as the P910, with the programs I mean?

Any pros and cons with both of the options?

Bearing in mind I own both (and even made up the 'P905' name ) my preference is the P910.

BUT you should consider price! I own a P910 because I got one at a good price otherwise I'd stick with the 905.

Either of them are a massive improvement over the P800, especially the screens.

P905 is cheaper and you get ALL P910 apps such as QuickOffice and you get the much improved web browser and of course PRO Duo support.
Another major improvement I found was increased stability over the P900. The P905 & P910 rarely crash.

The main disadvantage of the P905 is that it will NOT work with any Bluetooth headsets. They pair but cannot work.
Other BT stuff such as file transfer between phone & PC or two phones etc works no problem.

The P910 looks much fresher and up to date and you can use the BT headsets.
Its other main advantages are the increased RAM which makes it better for handling multi-tasks or loading lots of pics on a web page etc. and of course the QWERTY keyboard on the flip.
With P800, P900/P905 I ALWAYS removed the flip but its still on my 910 because of the keyboard.
The P910 also has a 262k screen as opposed to 65k but u can't really tell.

Basically overall the P910 has everything the P905 has and more but the P905 is only lacking BT headset compatibility & extra RAM.
The P905 is cheaper though so you should decide whether you want to spend extra for the slightly better one or save money & get most of it.

You guys don't seem to give any regard to the QWERTY keyboard in the P910? I would choose the P910 over the P900 just for the keyboard. It is not one of the best PDA keyboards (Treo's keyboard is much much better), but still is a major advancement. You just dont need to take your stylus out for so many things, and VeriChat becomes so much more useful.

Because nobody uses the keyboard, it is absolutely useless.
