This is definitely one of the more interesting SMS schemes to have come along.
Young people in London who are stopped by the police could use text messaging to monitor officers' behaviour in a pilot project being planned by the Metropolitan Police.
"The project would allow those who have been stopped and searched by the police to text their verdict on how they have been treated to a special number - a process similar to the "how's my driving?" sticker on the back of lorries.

my mate has been stopped for smelling of cannabis

I was stopped once years ago for useing the phone box late at night!...I told the copper i did'nt realise it was crime to use a public phone box at night,he just said to me he was doing his job?
I'm just glad they brought this service in!

same here i could sleep one summer night in the week, so went out for a cigarrete and a police car pulled over and asked me what i was doing! i said i am having a fag.
and i got pulled over on my moutainbike and they said my lights were TOO BRIGHT?!?! stupid. wish i had that txt number then....
